Cancellation & Refunds
Cancelling renewal, ending access and deleting a wedding are separate actions. Here's what each one means.
Effective 14 October 2026 | Made for Tuesday | ABN 71 105 766 914
Cancel renewal
Either partner can open Settings → Plan and select Cancel plan. Choose a reason, add any optional details and confirm before the next renewal. The confirmation shows when paid access ends.
Manage billing is for payment details and invoices, not cancellation. If you cannot sign in or the cancellation button is unavailable, contact us promptly through FAQ and contact.
Gifted accounts have no paid subscription to cancel. Contact us about changes to gifted access.
Access after cancellation
Cancellation stops the next renewal. Your plan remains available until the end of the current paid period. Unused time is not automatically refunded.
After access ends, planning tools are locked unless you purchase new access or an eligible Archive Pass. Settings and support remain available. An Archive Pass provides viewing and exporting, not editing.
An approved administrator pause makes the couple's plan read-only and stops helper access while paused. Any billing pause and resume date must be confirmed for the account. Postponing a wedding does not itself pause billing.
Refunds and consumer rights
We do not provide change-of-mind refunds, including for unused time, a postponed or cancelled wedding, or choosing not to use a purchased add-on.
This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law or other applicable non-excludable consumer protections. You may be entitled to a remedy if the service fails to meet consumer guarantees.
To request a remedy, contact us with your account email, purchase details and an explanation of the problem. Do not send card numbers or security codes. We will review the request, explain the outcome and ask for further information if needed. Stripe or the payment provider may handle the payment transaction.
A full refund removes the access or add-on it paid for without removing a separately purchased replacement plan. A partial refund, if agreed or required, is recorded and does not automatically change access. Cancelling renewal and requesting a refund are separate actions.
Archive Pass
After paid access ends, a $49 AUD Archive Pass provides 12 months of read-only viewing and exporting of existing records for the couple, based on the highest paid tier.
It does not include editing or helper access and does not renew automatically. Export important information before access ends. Eligible renewed or archive access may extend the retention deadline.
Wedding retention and deletion
After paid or gifted access expires, wedding records are normally retained for 90 days before becoming eligible for administrator-reviewed deletion, unless an account-specific retention deadline applies. Eligibility does not mean deletion will occur on an exact day. We send retention notices where possible.
Never-paid, never-gifted unfinished workspaces are cleared after 30 days. This removes the workspace, not the login account.
For a shared-wedding deletion request in Settings, both partners must approve. Helpers cannot approve or block deletion. Once approved, there is a 48-hour window to cancel the request. Requests awaiting approval expire after 14 days.
Cancel renewal first. Account deletion and paid-wedding deletion are blocked until Stripe confirms cancellation. Approved paid-wedding deletion is processed during daily cleanup after the 48-hour reversal window, so completion may take up to another day. If confirmation fails, the wedding and login are kept.
Records that remain
Live planning records are removed on deletion. Restricted account archives are erased automatically 12 months later. Resolved support conversations are erased after 12 months. Necessary financial evidence and agreement records are retained separately for seven years, then erased. These archives cannot restore your planning content.
Uploaded files and thumbnails enter a removal queue. Daily cleanup retries failed removals and preserves files still referenced by live records.
Provider backup, log and payment-system expiry remains unconfirmed. Following a restoration, deletion cleanup must be reapplied before restored information is made accessible. We do not promise immediate erasure from every provider system.
Read Privacy for more detail, or contact us about a specific personal-information deletion request.
